About Parasol Bases

As a rule, the bigger the canopy the heavier the base you need, so compact umbrellas sit happily on a 9kg to 14kg stand while larger Cantilever Parasols need 25kg or more, or a dedicated weight set, to stay put. Wheeled and sand or water filled bases make it simple to reposition a heavy parasol without lifting, then empty for storage over winter.
